Lapin House was founded by Stelios Papaioannou in 1976 to cover a gap in the Greek market for high quality branded clothing products for children. The company’s initial goal was to design, produce and sell children’s clothing and accessories, always according to the highest standards. It was soon realized that creating and developing a large modern sales network was a necessary framework for providing the best service to the consumer public.
Lapin House is one of only a few companies in Europe to have received BVQI certification for meeting the criteria of ISO 9001:2008 with regard to design, production and sale of children’s clothing and accessories. Its network of stores includes 64 sales points, including three 1200m2 Lapin Magicland stores: specially designed stores where you can find everything from toys, clothes and books to children’s furniture, strollers and much more, with corners and shop-in-shops by well-known children’s brands. In 2010 Lapin House signed an exclusive distribution and franchise contract with the British brand Mamas and Papas.
Lapin House also uses a network of 635 independent multi-brand stores throughout Europe.
